High Standards Farm Ocala began in 2014 when the Whitaker family purchased an investment pony while the sisters were just starting out riding ponies in the Hunter division and getting a foundation in riding at Eden Farm. Fast forward several years later, the new farm location is central to several horse show venues within Ocala, Florida. The farm is primarily a show-jumper barn, but we welcome other disciplines for annual and seasonal boarding.
The farm has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere and the Whitakers live onsite. The layout of the farm is efficient, with shady oaks sheltering the barns in the back of the property, a jump course and turnout pastures in front of the home, and many amenities that are convenient and efficient in caring for your horses. The farm’s name is multi-faceted. High Standards refers to the high quality of care and horsemanship evinced on the farm; the literal high standards of show jumping fences that challenge horse and rider; and the high standards that God demands from the family and its faith in Him.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
